WHOLE LIFE CHALLENGE

CHALLENGE - noun (DIFFICULT JOB), definition:
(the situation of being faced with) something that needs great mental or physical effort in order to be done successfully and therefore tests a person's ability.
WHAT IS IT?
It's a 6-week challenge with the goal of improving your health, happiness, and general well-being.
WELL, HOW DO I DO THAT?
To put it simply, for 6-weeks, you will earn points for completing 7 daily habits:
You will record your points on the Whole Life Challenge website or iOS/Android app, keeping you on track and accountable.
WHY SHOULD I DO IT?
Lots of reasons. Maybe you have gotten off track with your eating over the summer. Maybe you get overwhelmed at the grocery store and have a hard time making good food choices. Maybe you have extra weight you want to lose. Maybe you aren't getting enough sleep. Maybe you lack motivation to get to the gym.
This list goes on. This challenge isn't about one thing. It is about making positive changes in all aspects of your life and then assessing how those changes AFFECT your life.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
As with anything, the more you put in, the more you get out. And it depends what your goals are. But generally, here's what we CAN say about what to expect:
We signed AI up for this challenge because we want everyone to get the absolute MOST out of it. Everyone is doing it together... AI management, AI coaches, and members alike. This is one of the reasons CrossFit is so popular - we work through the hard stuff together. Everyone supports everyone.
This challenge is about YOU. It's about 'you' now compared to 'you in 6 weeks'.
This challenge will be... (drumroll)... challenging. YES! It will be! But it's only 6 weeks of your life. And also, this is not an 'all or nothing' deal. That is one of the reasons we chose this challenge. If you get off track one day and are not able to complete 1 (or 2 or 3...) of your 7 daily habits, it's ok! Do what you can to get back on track the next day. Life is life and life is busy. Just do your best!
At the beginning of the challenge, we will take everyone's body measurements (body weight or waist/hip girth) as well as a BEFORE photo. These are for your own use on your WLC profile... nobody else will see these. We will also complete a benchmark workout on Day 1 of the challenge and then again at the end. The percentage change in these two elements will contribute to the overall score for each person at the end of the challenge.
IF EVERYONE GETS A SCORE, DOES THAT MEAN THERE IS A WINNER?
Yes... there will be one male winner and one female winner. The winners will be determined based on 3 measurable factors:
Points accumulated through completing the 7 daily habits
Percentage improvement in completing the benchmark workout
Percentage improvement in body measurements
We will also have weekly raffle draws for people who log the progress of their 7 daily habits every day during that week.
Winners will both get a one-month free membership at AI Performance.
We only ask one thing... please don't cheat. If you just couldn't resist that giant piece of chocolate cake with ice cream, THAT'S OK!!! Just reflect that in your nutrition points for the day and move on. Nobody is going to get 100% of the points.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST AND WHAT DOES IT GET ME?
The cost is $75 if you register before September 12th. The price goes up by $10 after the 12th. This gets you a registration code to create your profile and get setup to start the challenge. It also gets you a SWEET Athlete Inside shirt. But, most importantly, you will be a part of our team. This means daily accountability with access to the online leaderboard in order to keep you AND your friends on track. We will help you take your 'before' and 'after' photos and measurements. The benchmark workout will be programmed for class wod at the start of the challenge.
